Penn GSE rises in U.S. News rankings

The University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE) has climbed to #6 in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings of graduate education programs, up from #7 last year. Notably, Penn GSE has been in the top 10 for the last 13 years.

Penn GSE continues to excel in several individual program rankings, with enduring strength in Education Policy (#5) and Higher Education (tied for #3). Other top-ranked programs include Education Administration & Supervision, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Psychology, and Elementary Education.
