Professional Biography
Constance M. Filling, Ed.D., serves as the Chief Learning Officer for the Association of American Medical Colleges. In her role as CLO, Dr. Filling directs the activities of the Membership, Learning, and Engagement unit in delivering high quality resources and learning opportunities for academic medical centers and those who work in academic medical centers.
Dr. Filling has more than 20 years’ experience in leading professional educational activities, including all facets of performance consulting in both commercial and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining the AAMC, Dr. Filling led the learning activities for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the College of American Pathologists. She earned a B.A. from Cornell College, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and an M.Ed. and Ed.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
