Professional Biography
Blair Stevenson is an educator, researcher, and administrator with a broad range of experience in the fields of education, culture, and technology.
Recently, Blair has worked as Principal Lecturer within the Department of Media and Performing Arts at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oamk), Finland. Within this role, he has founded Europe’s first master’s degree in Education Entrepreneurship (oamk.fi/mee) as well as supported numerous programs bridging education, innovation, and the creative industries. For over 20 years, he has worked as a teacher educator, with experience as an entrepreneur for 10 of those years. His research experience brings together fields such as educational psychology, entrepreneurship education, cultural studies, and new media, including a current adjunct position with the University of Toronto BMO Lab in Creative Research in the Arts, Performance, Emerging Technologies, and Artificial Intelligence.
During the 2021-2022 academic year, Blair will be working as Entrepreneur in Residence for the Master’s degree in Education Entrepreneurship at Penn GSE.
