Professional Biography
Dr. Tasha Wyatt is an associate professor and associate director at the Center for Health Professions Education at Uniformed Services University. She earned her Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Hawai‘I where she studied models of culturally compatible education among Native Hawaiians and the Inuit of Greenland. Her current research interests include studying the intersection of race, ethnicity, and culture, and the ways these elements intersect with educational systems, as well as the professional identity formation of minoritized physicians, efforts of trainees’ professional resistance in medicine, and decolonial methodologies.
