Share Your Summer: Submit Photos of Your Summer Work for a Chance to Win an iPad Mini!

June 18, 2013 - Penn GSE students, faculty, and staff are traveling globally and engaging locally more than ever before, and we want to invite you to share your summer with the Penn community.

Penn GSE Summer Photo Contest

Penn GSE students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit photos of their summer activities to the Penn GSE Summer Photo Contest. Photos with an educational theme are preferred, but all photos are welcome and will be considered. One winner will be selected each month from June–August, and a grand prize winner will be selected in September. Monthly winners will receive a framed 11x14 print of their photo and a Penn GSE t-shirt, and the grand prize winner will receive an iPad mini! Winning photos will also be displayed at GSE's main building at 3700 Walnut Street.

Guidelines and Rules

Email photos as an attachment to gsephotocontest@gmail.com by midnight on the last day of each month (June 30, July 31, or August 31) for consideration. Submissions must have a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Include the photographer’s name, contact information (email address and phone number), affiliation with GSE, and a 1-2 sentence description of the photo (including location) with each submission. Individuals may submit multiple photos, but each photo may only be submitted once during the contest.

Social Media

The GSE community is also encouraged to share photos of their summer work on social media. Find us on Twitter @PennGSE and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/penngse.

Photo Rights

By submitting a photo to the Penn GSE Summer Photo Contest, the photographer releases all rights to the image, including the right to disseminate, reuse, reproduce, display, alter, and derive works from the image, to the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Penn GSE will own any and all rights to photos submitted.

Good luck and happy photographing!
