Wolf to study impacts of remote learning

November 15, 2020

Sharon Wolf has been awarded $100,000 by the Jacobs Foundation to expand the scope of a randomized control trial already funded by the World Bank Strategic Impact Evaluation Fund (SIEF) by adding two rounds of assessments of children’s learning outcomes, which would be key to fully understanding program impacts on children of remote learning due to COVID-19. The trial focuses on increasing parental engagement in child remote learning, during and in the aftermath of the pandemic, with a particular focus on promoting gender parity in education.
