Communication, B.A. Drexel UniversityMy name is Kristian Ogungbemi and I'm a student in the Urban Teaching Apprenticeship Program (UTAP). I'm seeking certification in Secondary Social Studies and English Education. Although I'm originally from a suburb of Cincinnati, OH; I moved to Philadelphia in 2010 to attend Drexel University for my bachelor's degree. I chose Penn because it is a premier institution that offers its students amazing opportunities to network with alumni and faculty. Not to mention that UTAP provides students with almost a full school year of teaching experience, which you can't get many other places! On this blog, expect to learn even more about why I love Philadelphia, what the UTAP program is like, and why Penn was the right choice.
