Looking for coffee? The choices are endless. Personally, I’m a huge for of the GSE Café coffee options. And, they’re rather cost-friend. Needless to say, convenient. If you’re a Starbucks fan, there’s one on every corner. If you’re willing to venture out a little, Joe’s Coffee on Drexel’s side of town serves a nice cup of coffee and so does Green Line Café on 40th street. Food options are also many, but probably not as bountiful. Quite frankly, it’s easier to pack my lunch than venture off and pick somewhere to eat. Not to mention, easy on the wallet.

I have enjoyed doing work at the Annenberg School for Communication. The lower level forum is very cozy for reading and the tables on the plaza level are often empty. I’m a people watcher, haha, or at least absolute silence doesn’t help me focus so I need to see people moving about to not feel completely isolated in my studying. Therefore, the bookstore can also be a good place to do work. But good luck resisting temptation from the café!

A place where you can eat, study, and relax all at the same time is the Graduate Student Center! They have coffee (free with your own mug!) and cozy couches for reading, or tables for computer work.
