Professional Biography
Dr. Serrano Legrand earned his Doctorate of Education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. His dissertation centered Black teachers and the ways they think about and conceptualize risk-taking and innovation in a classroom and school context. Dr. Legrand is currently the Regional Director of 3-12 Mathematics for a public charter school network in Philadelphia, where he supports school leaders and teachers in teaching and learning. Dr. Legrand also consults various organizations and schools on leadership development, strategy, design thinking, and innovation.
