Penn GSE Event: Celebration of Educators at Alumni Weekend
Join Penn GSE during Penn Alumni Weekend for the Celebration of Educators, the annual event that recognizes, celebrates, and connects members of our remarkable community. This event will recognize the 2024 Education Alumni Award recipients, along with nominees and recipients of other annual awards given by the School, and feature The Price of Knowledge: Exploring the Economics of Education, an engaging panel discussion with Dean Katharine Strunk, Associate Professor Rachel Baker, and Assistant Professor Ericka Weathers.
Join us on Saturday, May 18th for the Celebration of Educators, the School’s annual signature alumni event that recognizes members of our community.
This year's event will honor the 2024 Education Alumni Award recipients, along with nominees and recipients of other annual awards given by the School. We will also celebrate Penn GSE alumni teachers who are marking at least their fifth year in the classroom.
Additionally, the event will feature an engaging panel discussion titled The Price of Knowledge: Exploring the Economics of Education, with Dean Katharine Strunk, Associate Professor Rachel Baker, and Assistant Professor Ericka Weathers. Penn GSE alum and Board of Advisors member Navin M. Valrani, W’93, GED’18, GED’22, GRD’23, CEO of Arcadia Education and the Al Shirawi Group, will moderate.
