The IES Predoctoral Program welcomes Dr. Diane Schanzenbach for our Fall Seminar Series.
Dr. Diane Schanzenbach | Northwestern University
Dr. Diane Whitmore Schanzenbach is a leading economic expert in anti-poverty programs, food insecurity, and education policy. She is Director of the Institute for Policy Research and the Margaret Walker Alexander Professor of Education and Social Policy at Northwestern University. Dr. Schanzenbach is an elected member of the National Academy of Education and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Her work is motivated by the desire to offer evidence and solutions, based on rigorous research, to enhance opportunities for low- income children and their families. Dr. Schanzenbach will be presenting her recent research on school finance reform.
