HEARD Panel: Education Justice in Philadelphia

All GSE faculty, staff, students, and members of the Philadelphia community are invited to the upcoming HEARD event, “Education Justice in Philadelphia: Coalitional Organization for Strong Public Schools.” This virtual panel discussion will feature community organizers from the local non-profit organizations Our City, Our Schools Coalition and Parents United for Public Education and will be moderated by GSE faculty member Dr. Sonia Rosen. The panel event will take place on Wednesday, February 7, 6–8 p.m. EST via Zoom.

This event promises to be an impactful dialogue centering community support and activism for public education in Philadelphia and is relevant for anyone committed to supporting The School District of Philadelphia and/or interested in grassroots educational activism.
