Olivia González

Olivia González, George Gerbner Postdoctoral Fellow at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, shares her research as it relates to the themes of this year’s One Book, Try to Love the Questions by Lara Schwartz.

Olivia González received her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Her research examines the politics of race, class, and gender within contemporary structures of media education and production. Her current work centers on the storytelling practices and professional socialization of minoritized film and television creators.
