Intensifying Instruction to Strengthen Student Success

During 40 years of research and development, 2021 McGraw Prize winners Doug and Lynn Fuchs, Institute Fellows at the American Institutes for Research and Research Professors in the Departments of Special Education and Psychology and Human Development at Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, have developed and validated programs on peer-mediated learning that broaden access to classroom instruction and on complementary structured small-group and one-to-one interventions.
