Spring Speaker Series: Dr. Cynthia Osborne (Vanderbilt)

 Join us for Dr. Cynthia Osborne's seminar “The Impact of State-Level Policies on Family Resources.”  

Dr. Cynthia Osborne is a professor of early childhood education and policy at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. She is the founder and executive director of the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center, a national research center that translates the science of the developing child into state-level policies. Dr. Osborne’s research focuses on social policy, poverty and inequality, family and child well-being, and family demography.

The Spring Speaker Series is a great opportunity to engage with leading experts in education research.The series is hosted by Penn's IES Predoctoral Training Program and open to all Penn students, faculty, and staff.  While we prefer all in-person attendance, a virtual option is available through the following link -  Virtual Option for Speaker Series
