For over 20 years, the Philadelphia Writing Project (PhilWP) has convened A Celebration of Writing and Literacy, an annual conference presented by and for Philadelphia educators. The event is co-sponsored by the Philadelphia Writing Project, Teachers Institute of Philadelphia, the Literacy Studies and Mid-Career Doctoral programs at Penn GSE, School District of Philadelphia, and Penn Museum. This year’s conference theme is “Teaching, Learning, and Doing in the Age of AI,” and will feature Dr. Antero Garcia and Tricia Ebarvia.
