In his new book, John Puckett tells interwoven histories of Penn and West Philadelphia

“It’s a story of the American research university in the second half of the 20th century,” Puckett told the Current. “It’s a social history and an institutional history.”

Puckett and Lloyd, director of the University Archives and Records Center, will discuss the book at a signing 7 p.m. May 14 at the Penn Book Center.

Documentary on Norristown's Mexican community, inspired by GSE research, airing on WHYY

Adelante, directed by Penn graduate student Noam Osband and executive produced by Penn GSE professor Stanton Wortham, screens on Philadelphia’s WHYY Feb. 20. Osband will also host a campus screening March 30.
