This event will be recorded.
Join the new McGraw Center for Educational Leadership at Penn GSE for a webinar that shares solutions for the preparation for the end of Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding in 2024.
Our panelists will discuss the implications of the end of ESSER, how school districts have been preparing, and what districts can do going forward. The responsibility of boards of education in the financial stewardship and monitoring of impact will be discussed.
Districts will share their story of how funds were used to support children and families during this historic time and the ways they’ve prepared for the impact of enrollment declines on state funding.
Lastly, participants will discuss the politics of the historic investment and tell the story of its impact amid a global pandemic and severe workforce shortages.
