Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), M.S.Ed.

Linguistics, B.A. Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan

Konnichiwa! My name is Yuki, and I am from Tokyo, Japan. I am a current student in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program at Penn GSE. My passion and interest are teaching English to young children. I have lived in Singapore for 4 years, Thailand for a year, and I spent a year at Georgetown University in Washington DC as an exchange student. I love to travel around the world and meet new people (& enjoy the local food of course!); I’ve been to Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and Canada many times as well as countries such as France, Monaco, England, and the Netherlands. I hope that my blogs would be helpful in you getting to know GSE & Penn better!
