Penn GSE/Stiteler Hall | 3700 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

This event will feature Discourse and Democracy: The Classroom as a Catalyst for Bridging Differences, an engaging discussion with Professor Sigal Ben-Porath, Associate Professor Abby Resiman, and Dean Katharine Strunk.

Divisive times present challenges to open and constructive classroom conversations and may cause stress for students and teachers. How can we facilitate discussions through these tensions and use these moments to prepare students for success in a democratic society?

The event ends with a reception to celebrate and connect with members and friends of the Penn and Penn GSE communities.

Registration by Friday, May 16, is required to attend.
