Chloe Cole, Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness at Penn Campus Recreation, will be hosting an interactive virtual presentation and discussion about the following topics: Maintaining Physical and Mental Health in our virtual world and SMART goal setting strategies to stay motivated.

The ExCITe Center’s 7th Annual STEAM Education Workshop will be all-virtual on February 15 (Presidents’ Day). This year’s program features a keynote by renowned author and researcher, Dr. Bettina Love (University of Georgia), co-founder of the Abolitionist Teaching Network, addressing an audience of those in Pre-K-12 as well as higher education.
Presented by Health Advocate EAP, we will discuss how income tax is calculated, types of adjustments/deductions, ways to reduce taxation and strategies to save. We will review some of the common tax law changes from the Tax Cut Jobs Act of 2017 as well as some common mistakes to avoid.
This training focuses on the role of the supervisor in supporting the emotional well-being of their teams and equipping them with skills and resources to intervene with stress, distress, and crisis. The training reviews the basics of the EAP, including making referrals, techniques for reaching out to employees with support, and dealing with the different reactions employees may exhibit when they are approached. It also covers obstacles to a successful confrontation and the dangers of enabling.
